Alphabet Rod

Five Walls Gallery, Melbourne, 2026

Alphabet Rod is a bronze sculpture that reimagines the Latin alphabet as a continuous three-dimensional form in which each letter gradually morphs into the next, articulating, for the first time, the space between the letters. Developed using architectural modelling software and 3D printing before being cast in bronze, the one-metre-long sculpture references the International Prototype of the Metre while also suggesting a magic wand.
